Supporting Lives programme, which brings together the whole family of Numico's businesses around the world in one shared effort of community giving to ensure that more children grow up in a safe and caring environment.
SOS Children's Villages has a presence in 37 countries where Numico also has operations. Numico has appointed a Supporting Lives ambassador in each country, facilitating communications, coordination and increasing the exposure of both organisations in those countries.
HSBC "Future First" initiative
HSBC is one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world. HSBC's international network comprises over 10,000 offices in 83 countries and territories in Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, the Americas, the Middle East and Africa. The partnership between SOS Children's Villages and HSBC's
Future First programme will benefit thousands of orphaned, abandoned and destitute children in the 47 countries in which both organisations have a common presence. HSBC has pledged USD one million per year to SOS Children's Villages for five years (2007 – 2011). These donations will be used to support SOS education, community development and family strengthening programmes.
