The General Assembly, which is the highest quorate board of SOS-Kinderdorf International, is held only every five years.
Main points on the agenda are the approval of the SOS Children's Villages worldwide objectives for 2009 to 2016, the election of the president and the presentation of the worldwide SOS Children's Villages Child Protection Policy. More than 300 representatives of SOS Children's Villages associations from 132 countries and territories are expected to join the event.
