This edition of FORUM deals with the complexity of relationships and feelings related to the concept of family, but also with family as a group of people struggling with the constraints of economic and political developments.
On the one hand, the SOS Children's Village facilities are results and reflections of political, social and economic developments, on the other hand they have to adjust their offers to these developments actively. How SOS facilities will react to changing conditions, how they prepare children and youths for their future lives and how they support parents and mothers in doing so, is examined in detail in this edition.
