Child Care

The UN Guidelines for the Alternative Care of Children, to which SOS Children’s Villages made key contributions, stresses that children should grow up in their own family and within a strong, supportive community.

Yet, in many places around the globe, children are affected by poverty, war, violence, diseases, exploitation, neglect and many more devastating circumstances.

SOS Children's Villages supports and strengthens families

Helping children and their families by strengthening their communities from within is what SOS Children’s Villages wants to achieve globally in the long run.
