Child rights advocacy

SOS Children's Villages takes action to improve policies and practices that undermine the well-being of children without parental care, and those who are at risk of losing it. Whether working with United Nations agencies or community-based groups, through advocacy we help to improve the situations of all children and families, not just those with which we work directly.

    In 2012 SOS Children´s Villages launched Care for ME! to foster knowledge about alternative care standards around the world and to advocate at national and international levels to ensure quality care for every child living in alternative care. More

    The transition from childhood to adulthood is one of life’s many challenges. For those leaving a care setting this process is especially difficult.
