Intern (f/m) – Corporate Partnerships

Full-time for 6 months; Location: Vienna/Austria

SOS Children’s Villages International is the umbrella organisation for the global federation of SOS Children’s Villages. As a non-governmental social development organisation we help children without parental care and families in difficult living conditions through services in care, education, health and emergency relief, and we advocate for children’s rights. We work in 136 countries and territories, reaching over one million children, young people, families and caregivers each year. To support us with this important responsibility we are searching for our International Corporate Partnerships and Philanthropy department in Vienna an:
Intern (f/m) – Corporate Partnerships
38.5 hours/week – 6 months

The intern will support two international partnerships with global corporate partners AkzoNobel and Allianz. He/she will assist the Partnership Advisors with the following tasks:

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • General support of the global partnerships management, according to needs
  • Administration of partnership documents on the local database
  • Support in the organisation of workshops, meetings, ensuring logistics before and during events
  • Data compilation for reporting and evaluation
  • Development of communication material for internal and external purposes (presentations, articles, reports, etc.)
  • Communication and support of partnership countries
Requirements
  • Educational background preferably in business administration, marketing/fundraising or a service industry-related subject
  • Strong MS-Office user skills
  • Experience in administrative support
  • Strong organisational skills with a clear service-orientation
  • Excellent command of oral and written English; very good knowledge of oral and written German would be an asset
  • Understanding for intercultural differences
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
