"I felt like my life ended the moment I got pregnant," says Saraphina of the time when she was 17. "I couldn't even speak in front of other women." Today, Saraphina, 24, has not only rebuilt her life but is also inspiring others. She speaks to young woman as part of an SOS Children's Villages programme.

The Nairobi Community iHub is a youth-driven space where young people learn essential digital and soft skills, access resources, and connect with mentors, ICT coaches, and like-minded peers. Since its opening in May 2023, hundreds of young people have been coming to iHub each month.

SOS Children’s Villages in Sudan, in close coordination with the Red Sea State Ministry of Social Welfare, recently facilitated the voluntary return of 510 internally displaced persons (IDPs) - including children - from Red Sea State back to their home state.

The escalating violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is causing immense suffering, with children bearing the heaviest burden. As the conflict intensifies in Goma, in eastern DRC, thousands of children face displacement, separation from their families, and an increased risk of violence and exploitation.
