100 days after devastating Nepal earthquake, SOS continues to help thousands

100 days after a devastating earthquake struck Nepal, killing thousands and affecting millions, SOS Children’s Villages has reached more than 40,000 children through the various strands of its emergency programme in the country.
SOS to help more unaccompanied Syrian children through European Commission-financed project

A new project in Northern Syria run by SOS Children’s Villages and financed by the European Commission will provide complete care for hundreds of unaccompanied children and reunification services to reunite them with their families if possible.

Over 80 young volunteers from SOS Children’s Villages programmes in Nepal were among the first responders who stepped up to care for children and families injured and displaced by the earthquakes. Two of those volunteers, Rinku Rawal (15) and Indira Lama (16), describe what they saw.
