Newly approved EU budget allocates funds to fight child poverty

February 24 2021 - A major milestone in fighting child poverty in the EU has been achieved: The European Parliament and the Council of the European Union approved the European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) which, for the first time, sets a specific objective and earmarks funds to fight child poverty.

New user-friendly version of UN resolution

July 13 2020 - SOS Children’s Villages International has launched a user-friendly version of the 2019 UN Resolution on the Rights of the Child focusing on children without parental care. The new user-friendly version is designed to make the resolution more accessible and to help make sure that governments’ commitments become a reality for children and young people.
