Valentyna and her children fled southern Ukraine in autumn 2022. After an exhausting journey, they found safety at the SOS Children’s Village Brovary. 'I used to help people in my village in Kherson and here I got help myself. Sometimes I think the good does come back,' says the foster mother of four.
