A global Ombuds Office strengthens safeguarding at SOS Children’s Villages

June 16 2023 - A network of independent ombuds is one of the cornerstones of SOS Children’s Villages’ work towards stronger safeguarding. Building the Ombuds Office from the ground up would not have been possible without child and youth participation.

Independent Special Commission Completes Final Report

June 7 2023 - As part of our response to past organizational failures, SOS Children’s Villages has received the final report of an impartial, expert commission and welcomes its recommendations.

Ombuds Board close to selecting Global Ombuds

June 6 2023 - SOS Children’s Villages has made progress in the creation of a federation-wide Ombuds system. In April, a five-member Ombuds Board was established.
