Invisible wounds of war

October 10 2025 - Across the world’s conflict zones, millions of children are living with invisible wounds of war. Yet mental health and psychosocial services receive less than one percent of global humanitarian funding. SOS Children’s Villages is working to close that gap, supporting children in crisis zones such as Gaza, Ukraine, Haiti, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo with practical, scalable approaches that restore hope, resilience, and the chance to heal.
