Kaladze introduced as Georgia's "FIFA for SOS Children's Villages" ambassador

January 18 2006 - 18/01/2006 - Kakha Kaladze, captain of Georgia's national team, was awarded his official "FIFA for SOS Children's Villages" ambassador's certificate in a ceremony at the SOS Children's Village in Tbilisi.

1 year after tsunami: Rebuilding for the future of the children

December 6 2005 - (6 December 2005) - Children were among the most vulnerable victims of the 26 December 2004 tsunami which caused widespread devastation in South Asia. The ongoing relief and reconstruction efforts of SOS Children's Villages in the tsunami-hit regions of Sri Lanka, India, Indonesia and Thailand, aim at rebuilding the livelihoods of affected families and ensuring a future for the children.
