In one of Gaza’s neighborhoods, seven-year-old "Noor" was playing in the yard of her home. In an instant, she lost her home and her little dreams. With every airstrike, she hoped to find a safe place to sleep, far from fear. Noor was not alone—thousands of Palestinian children and their families are living the same suffering, enduring one of the most difficult periods in Palestine's history.

As the blessed month of Ramadan arrives, the season of giving and mercy, we invite you to join our campaign, "Hand in Hand, We Bring Hope" to support children and families affected by the war in Gaza and the West Bank.

Since the beginning of the war, we have been able to assist over 32,000 individuals, including 19,785 children across our villages, camps, and various programs. With your support, we aim to extend our help and increase the number of people benefiting from our services to 100,000.

During Ramadan, the month of giving, we raise hope in the hearts of children and families, offering them a chance for a better life and a brighter future. Your donation is not just assistance; it is light that dispels the darkness from their lives, helping them toward a fresh start filled with hope.

Donate now and become a source of their new hope.

Why do we need your support today?

About 19,000 children lost the warmth of their families or were separated from their parents during the war in Gaza, which increases the number of those without family care in Palestine to more than 70,000 children. For them, growing up is often more about survival and basic needs than playing and learning. We work at SOS Children's Villages Palestine to provide alternative care for dozens of children, focusing on the trust and warmth of strong human connections. We succeeded in opening a shelter for unaccompanied children separated from their parents due to the war in Gaza. In light of the continuing war and the economic situation that families are experiencing in Gaza and the West Bank, SOS Children’s Villages has been able, over the past few months, to provide cash assistance to more than 15,000 individuals, children, and families, and has implemented more than 16,000 extracurricular and recreational activities and counselling sessions for children and families.

Together, we saved Marah!

Marah entered the SOS Children's Villages Rafah program for unaccompanied and separated children when she was just six months old, and now she is a year and a half old. From the moment of her arrival, Marah was facing complex health challenges, which affected her ability to balance and play freely like other children. Through inclusive care, which included appropriate healthy nutrition, continuous medical care, and therapy sessions, her condition began to improve significantly. Today, Marah has overcame many of these challenges. Now, she can walk confidently to live her childhood freely. This story reflects the commitment of SOS Children's Villages Palestine, to its humanitarian mission of caring for unaccompanied children separated from their families, in this case due to war, by providing a safe and supportive environment that contributes to meeting their basic needs, ensuring that they receive the necessary care. So, they reach a point where they can live in peace and regain their normal life within a loving and stable family.
