The recent bombardments had a major impact on children in Gaza. Many and their families lost their homes and their source of livelihood and were displaced to several unsafe places more than once, in addition to being exposed to psychological trauma as a result of the war and its repercussions. They are now in urgent need of food assistance, health supplies and psychological support.

SOS Children's Villages Palestine works to provide food, drink, clothing, education, and psychological and health care to hundreds of children and their families who lived in difficult conditions before the war as part of the Family Strengthening Programme. With the war, conditions have become catastrophic.
