In 2024, we proudly launched a new international corporate partnership with NN Group and Save the Children, focused on improving the mental well-being of children and young people at risk in five countries where both SOS Children’s Villages and NN Group are active: Belgium, Czech Republic, Greece, Hungary, and Slovakia (through a partner organization).

By providing trauma-informed care, psychosocial support, and mental health therapies, we aim to equip children and young people with the emotional resilience they need to thrive. Our initiatives include offering individual psychological therapies, delivering trauma-sensitive training for caregivers, and enhancing the mental health capacities of SOS Children's Villages professionals.

Beyond direct interventions, we actively engage local communities through awareness campaigns and integration initiatives, fostering a deeper understanding of mental health challenges while promoting better access to vital services. In several countries, NN Group staff are also actively involved in volunteering initiatives.
