Many girls, especially those growing up in poverty or without consistent care and support, never get the chance to build skills to pursue science or take part in the digital economy. Hasina Ramisedra, a computer science student and YouthCan! participant, explains the barriers to digital inclusion and why the realities of all girls and women must be reflected in AI systems.
