Skills development opens new doors
Leonie Dindji uses every opportunity she can to gain new skills. Currently studying for a PhD in English with a focus on American literature, she has also founded an NGO and would like to one day teach theatre and feminism.
Leonie is also an intern at the commercial services department DHL Express Côte d’Ivoire as part of the GoTeach programme, a youth employability partnership between SOS Children’s Villages and Deutsche Post DHL that is part of our global YouthCan! initiative.
In advance of World Youth Skills Day on 15 July, we are sharing Leonie’s story – and how learning new skills opens new opportunities for her. Watch this video to learn more about how this internship helps her develop new skills, bringing her closer to achieving her dreams.
