HSBC

Life-changing educational opportunities

HSBC and SOS Children’s Villages have partnered for over 10 years helping make a difference to vulnerable and orphaned children around the world.

HSBC’s ‘Future First’ programme was run for 10 years, successfully supporting a myriad of educational outreach projects across the globe from kindergartens with wholesome lunches in India to university scholarships. To read more about the achievements of the Future First programme click here.

In 2016, HSBC extended the partnership with SOS Children’s Villages as part of their ‘HSBC Youth Opportunities Programme’, which builds on the success of Future First with a focus on helping to achieve the targets outlined in Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education. The HSBC Youth Opportunities Programme encompasses educational support, vocational training and life skills, with employee engagement opportunities for HSBC staff to share their skills to assist local SOS Children’s Villages.
